Discovered by archaeological excavation by the Bath Archaeological Trust, this is the only 18thC town garden to be seen in Bath. The planting scheme is the result of research by the Garden History Society. the finest museum of fashionable garments in the world, with more than 150 complete outfits on display, taken from a collection of 30,000 items. It covers the history of fashion from the late 16th century to the present day. Special exhibition for 2004: Jane Austin - Film and Fashion. Costumes from recent productions such as BBC TV's Pride and Prejudice and films, such as Sense and Sensibility on display alongside real examples of fashionable dress and accessories of the early 19thc from the Museum's collection.
