Bath An exquisite Georgian spa city boasting the Royal Crescent, Roman Baths, and Thermae Bath Spa. Founded by the Romans and now a World Heritage Site.

Georgian Garden: Discovered by archaeological excavation by the Bath Archaeological Trust, this is the only 18thC town garden to be seen in Bath. The planting scheme is the result of research by the Garden History Society.

Museum of Costume: the finest museum of fashionable garments in the world, with more than 150 complete outfits on display, taken from a collection of 30,000 items. It covers the history of fashion from the late 16th century to the present day. Special exhibition for 2004: Jane Austin - Film and Fashion. Costumes from recent productions such as BBC TV's Pride and Prejudice and films, such as Sense and Sensibility on display alongside real examples of fashionable dress and accessories of the early 19thc from the Museum's collection.

Roman Baths: the first stop for any visitor to Bath is the Roman Baths surrounding the hot springs where the city began. Here you will see one of the country's finest ancient monuments - the great Roman temple and bathing complex built almost 2000 years-ago. Discover the everyday life of the Roman spa, see the ancient treasures from the temple of Sulis Minerva and many other objects recovered from the sacred spring where they were thrown as offerings to the goddess.

Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery: sixteen galleries of displays and a lively activity programme take visitors on a voyage of discovery from pre-history to the present day.

The Bill Douglas centre houses one of the largest collections in the UK relating to the history of the moving image. The galleries provide an overview of the development of moving images from shadow puppets to computer-generated animation. At the core of the collection are some 20, 000 books, but the holdings extend far beyond these. They include posters, postcards, programmes, cigarette cards, film stills, campaign materials, toys, jigsaw puzzles, crockery, sheet music, magic lantern slides, optical instruments and much more. All items in the collection are available for consultation by request in the Special Collections and Bill Douglas Centre Reading Room.

Salisbury Combines the charm of a medieval city with the vibrancy of modern life, Salisbury is every bit the classic English city.

Mompesson House: built in c1701 for Charles Mompesson, the house has a graceful staircase and magnificent plasterwork. Collection of English 18thC drinking glasses. Delightful walled garden.

Wilton Shopping Village: the whole family will enjoy a visit to the unique riverside setting of the Wilton Shopping village and its beautifully restored 18th century courtyard. Take a tour of the world famous Wilton Carpet Factory and Town Museum.

Weymouth, located at the heart of the World Heritage Coast, has so much to offer the visitor.
